Our office is open Monday through Friday from 7:45am to 5:00pm. The switchboard hours are 8:30 to 1:00pm and 2:00pm to 4:30pm Monday through Thursday and 8:30am to 1:00pm on Fridays. Appointments can be scheduled during these times by calling (336) 273-3661.
To best serve all of our patients, we request a 24-hour notice if you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment time to allow time to update demographic information and complete the necessary form(s) for the appointment. You must have your insurance card with you at the time of your appointment in order to be seen.
Physicians for Women is located at 802 Green Valley Road, Suite 300, Greensboro NC 27408 in the Physicians for Women building.
If you need a prescription refilled, please call your pharmacy and they will contact our office on your behalf. If you are requesting a new prescription or a prescription requires authorization, please call our office during normal office hours. We cannot refill prescriptions after office hours, weekends or holidays.
Our practice participates with most managed care plans. Click here to see a list or call (336) 273-3661 to see if we are participating with your specific insurance/managed care plan. Co-insurance and /or copays are collected at the time of service. Patients will be responsible for any portion applied to the patient portion by the insurance company or considered non-covered by insurance.
In the event of a life-threatening emergency, call 911. For all other urgent or emergent situations, please call the office at (336) 273-3661 and explain the nature of your problem to our triage staff. She will consult with your physician and instruct you what to do. A physician is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If the problem occurs after our office hours, please call (336) 273-3661. A nurse will triage your call and contact the physician on call if necessary. Patients should call (336)273-3661 to notify the doctor on call before going to the hospital.
