John S. McComb, M.D.

Dr. McComb originally of Chillicothe, Ohio, was strongly influenced by his father and knew from an early age he wanted to be a doctor. He attended college at the University of Tennessee, where he was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa academic honor society. He went on to attend medical school at Bowman Gray School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, NC. While at Bowman Gray he was inducted into the prestigious medical honor society Alpha Omega Alpha. Dr. McComb joined Physicians for Women of Greensboro in 1989. Over his career, Dr. McComb has developed a particular interest in Urogynecology, urinary issues affecting women.

In his free time, Dr. McComb enjoys golfing and skiing.
