Dr. Mezer is a native of Boston, Massachusetts and was raised in Kingston, NY.  He earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and was elected to Tau Beta Pi and Omega Chi Epsilon, the engineering and chemical engineering honor societies.  While at Tufts University School of Medicine he was inducted into the prestigious medical honor society, Alpha Omega Alpha.

Dr. Mezer completed his residency and fellowship at Yale where he received both the Waterbury Award and the Friedman Award for excellence in clinical medicine.

He attributes his interest in medicine to his grandfather and uncles who were noted physicians.

Dr. Mezer divides his practice between general gynecology, fertility and female endocrinology, from puberty to menopause.  His fertility practice focuses on both basic infertility and patients requiring advanced technology.

In his spare time he enjoys golf, skiing, digital photography and spending time with his family.
